Description
Black Seed is flowering plant that dates to ancient Egyptian times. It grows up to 12 inches tall and produces fruit with seeds that are used in many ways. These seeds have traditionally been used as a spice in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine where it is referred to as “kalonji”. Also called black cumin seed, black seeds are employed to flavor curries, vegetables, and breads. Now growing around the world, nigella seeds can also be used in tea or added to coffee as a unique flavoring and have also been used in oils.
